Yeah, the Barnes & Noble sale is garbage. Just a select few blus apply. Sorry to get your hopes up, brehs.

Anyway, I was kinda heated when I found out so I hate-ordered La Promesse and A Man Escaped off Amazon last night (they have some good prices on some Criterions right now btw).

The extras on the Birdman blu suuuuuuuuck. Not coping until a better release or this one is ultra cheap.

It's a horrible trend in new releases and I blame the push for digital. I was ready to cop Robocop when it dropped but had to pump my brakes when I saw the lack of special features could've at least done an audio commentary
I actively search for movies with a good amount special features

though i never listen to em. i probably would with this flick

i honestly barely peep the extras like i did when i was younger. just no time.

If i like the movie enough i'll cop it . i only watch the features once anyway.

but they should have something more for the physical media lovers/collectors

As an amateur filmmaker and my love for the history of cinema, I love the commentaries and the behind the scenes material. All of it is like "free" lessons and motivation
