Almost famous 4K came out today. My pre-order from months ago hasn't shipped yet. This hobby is so :flabbynsick:

This fall is stacked with 4K discs.

in September:

The Thing
The ShawShank Redemption
Looper
Unbreakable
A Clockwork Orange
The Social Network; Taxi Driver (In the colombia classics 2 set :francis:)

October:

Scream

Scream and Unbreakable were probably the 2 worst blu-rays ever, at least amongst titles I love. So glad we're gonna get new versions.

@MartyMcFly :ufdup:
Shawshank and Looper are mine

5 years deep. It's the G.O.A.T.

Feels like watching your favorite movies for the first time again. Plus this is probably the last stop for physical media so I know I won't have to buy them again.

fukk. The Silence of the Lambs 4K in September too by Kino Lorber.

Every boutique label is absolutely shytting on Criterion right now. they should be ashamed. Everything they put out is being put out in 4K by either major studios or boutique labels. I'm already tired of buying titles 3 and 4 times. Step the fukk up

Been awhile....

Spiral 4K
Robert Esquire
Men of Honor

Sidenote, the Spiral movie is a steel book, has a printed graphic clear sleeve that slides over it. For the love of God whose ever idea that was needs an immediate raise. So many SB have that paper graphic with glue stuck to the case.

It’s like they heard you. :sas1:

Maybe Criterion will surprise me with an Eyes Wide Shut release now.

I was hoping for an Uncut Gems Criterion 4K before they announced it was coming on Blu-ray. I don't think it's happening anytime soon:sadcam:
