How do they get money to start/run these programs? Do they make a contract with the students to get a cut of their money if they get NIL deal in college or make it the NBA?

Nah...at least not any of the legit ones.

They get sponsorships and boosters ( which is how Utah Prep got AJ)

And they also start B-teams or second teams where rich kids that aren't as talented but have hoop dreams pay to go to the academy.

The second ( and sometimes THIRD) squad pays for the top squad

Youd be surprised how many decent Asian and white boys families will pay for them to possibly go D1

fukk it. I've always wanted my own school. I'm starting Bishop Tife D. Jakes Post Grad Prep Academy. We're accepting anybody that can make it to Atlanta, meet us on Bankhead and we'll drive all around the nation playing the top schools.

@Buckeye Fever has already agreed to be our first signee. We know his talents on the court, wait till yall see him on the field

Yup sounds exactly like Prolific Prep. They got like 3-4 teams but only one real team that matters.
