What is everyone's "goal" in this play?

Just turning a profit?

Enough $$$ for savings, housing down payments etc?

Mid to high 6 figs, low level millionaire?

Rich/wealthy?

Always fascinated by folks that say they'd retire on like $2M. That's a nice bit of money but "retiring" seems like a stretch unless you're old or live VERY frugally.

Me I have 3 levels. Low bar is basically enough to pay off house. I‘d be disappointed but it’s a win, i get there at about $80

Winning for me is $500-1,000. basically get to do what I want to do, buy dream vehicles, mortgage on a house I want at a low payment, live lower upper class life

FU money is $3-5,000. I get that much I have enough to retire and buy everything I reasonably want. I’d probably sell regardless of price action.

I look at 2 million invested, with hope of even a %5 return annually would be 100K before taxes. I live in a low cost of living area and could live off of 60-70% of that for real and let the rest add stay in the account which means the account would continue to grow.

I wanna buy an apartment complex straight cash rent it out to people for below rent averages in the area and they will have to address me as Lord when I come through :mjlit: That’s my only requirement. Oh also have people they picked from their community in the complex sing me a song like a choir or some shyt like that on every fourth month of the year on the 24th day.
If not I jack up the prices

As for the other questions I'm hoping to be a low level millionaire. Enough to retire off of.I have a certain price point that would let me sell off some shares and leave my job and take off work for a bit. If the price goes over that level I'd just set limits so that if drops to a certain price go ahead and sell. That way if the price keeps going up I'm not missing out. At that point if the price keeps going up I'd keep upping that limit.

You can retire on 2 million. but it will take a year of buildup and depending where you live.
Parking that money in the s and p can give you a return of 10% on average off interest alone.

Again, you'll probably still have to work for a year but once you get that first 200k you're golden.

I could easily retire where I live on 2-3 mill. But I don't live in a big city.

I'm surprised this "gamestop to 5k" stuff is still going on?

You realize that would make it the most valuable company on earth I think? this would never happen.

You mentioned that year of buildup before. What are you referring to?
