Hereditary was great. A Quiet Place was good. The Clovehitch Killer might be more suspense/drama but that was a great one as well. Unsane was a good uncomfortable flick also.

Came here to post this. I honestly put off finding a theater around me after the mixed reviews. Don't want to be severely let down because the OG is one of my favorites horror films of all time.

Not sure if I've seen 10 but Hereditary, Mandy and The Endless were 3 movies that surprised the hell out of me this year.

I made a lot of trips to the theater this year. Between comic book piff, blockbusters and critically acclaimed picks, this year kept me stuffed
