What's easier for making chop up sample beats? An MPC or a program like Reason?

So when you load a .rex file it plays on Dr. Rex, but in Kong you can't control the loop or sequence?
How do I control the loop or sequence in Kong?
For example, the first loop I want on pad 1 doesn't start at the beginning of the song, so how do I control that pad to start where I want it to?
Here's the song in Recycle.
I want the first pad to start where I put 1, the second pad to start where I put 2, and the third pad to start where I put 3.
But when I put them on Reason it comes out completely random

Now look how it appears on kong.

^ bro there are 2 ways off the top of my head you can do it.

1 - chop it up exactly the way you want it in recycle. export it as wav (slices...however many you made). in kong, select pad 1. in that pad's drum module, select NN-nano (not nurse rex). right over that little blue screen is a folder. open it, browse to your first chop and thats it. do this for each pad and each chop

- or -

2 - chop it up the way you want. save it as a rex file. in kong, on pad 1 - open nurse rex in the drum module. all the way on the right under pad settings, drum assignment should be set to 1, and hit type should be chunk trig. select pad 2 - set drum assignment to 1, hit type to chunk trig. you should then see pad 1 and 2 show up over your wave in nurse rex. pad 3 - drum assignment 1, chunk trig. keep doing this until you see your wav chopped up the way you want. notice you only have to physically open nurse rex that first time

it looks like you didnt chop it up enough. pad 3 is set to that long ass chop you got labeled 3. chunk mode works with existing slice markers, it wont create any

i love chunk mode btw. it saves time

I figured it out using the 3nd step you gave me but 1 question.
What hit type does the Drum setting need to be at for the pad to play longer? On the Chunk Trig it fades out and doesnt play the chop long enough.
Would any of the other hit types play the sample longer and still be able to be cut off if I hit another pad?

Edit: I figured it out. I just had to put Release all the way up. Repped.

I keep assigning more than just the first 2 pads to 1 and hit type chunk trig, but only the first 2pads end up working. Know why that is?
Based on this wav file, wouldnt i need to assign 4 pads to 1 and hit type chunk trig and all four should have a different starting point?

Look over your assignments on each pad. This video may help
