He checks off every quality they’re looking for in a new Latino star. Whether the WWE actually does something positive about it is a different story. What are they, like 0/8 trying to find the “next Rey/Eddie”??? ADR, Sin Cara 1 & 2, Kalisto. They really didn’t even try with Lince Dorito and Gran Metalik, the latter of which was a pretty big deal before coming to the WWE. And as of right now, it looks like they’re already moving on from Andrade due to Garza.
Vince thinking that you're the next Eddie doesn't really mean much to me, because Vince's main contribution to Eddie was giving him a racist gimmick and some airtime. I don't see Vince doing anything to develop Angel as a character or a draw other than doing something similar

It all comes down to booking.....and we know what time it is when it comes down to that
ADR was absolutely NOT a draw for WWE, TNA, or LU. He has never been a draw in America. Garza is 100% more charismatic than ADR ever was. I think the only thing that can hold him back besides Vince randomly deciding he's not into him anymore is that he's a legit cruiserweight. Eddie didn't get taken seriously as an upper card guy until he got fired and came back with 40 pounds of muscle added to his frame.
Angel could have a very high ceiling if brought along the right way and pushed properly.
However I have very little faith in WWE doing that with him. I think Vince will pay attention to him for a few months before tiring of him and then Angel will end up in the "Cesaro Zone" where he'll be gainfully employed and on TV regularly but not actually doing anything worthwhile.
