SOMETHIN REAL FO YO ASS IN THESE HANDS!!!!
Wish I woulda saw this last night; this is my department.
First off, everybody with Korbel, Paul Masson, or Erk, ya'll pull up, and learn something.

Second, there are levels to the game, and you can have drinks for occasions, regular social drinking, and private stock.

There are 3 options, all under $20, and all stay in my rotation for quality's sake:

1. If you can find this, GET. IT.

Raynal, which is "French Brandy", AKA this is yac, but we can't call it that, cause the grapes grow in the wrong region of France.
$14.99 for a fifth, maybe a lil more

You will also find out why our nickname for it is "Right Now"; your guests may be surprised at how fast you go from 0 to NICE.
NOTE: you will see some stuff called St. Remy on the shelf next to the Raynal..... NEVER, I repeat NEVER give your money for that....or do it, and report back, lol
Been drinking it for years, and it's arguably smoother, and tastier than the other 2 options:

Cant believe nobody mentioned the other 2 options, which are kinda the same:

Ansac VS and VSOP

Grab the 750ml of the VSOP to stay around 20 bucks, but if you got more than a few, go head and grab the L of the VS for about the same price.
Most people will not know the difference between the 2, but unless they drink cognac exclusively, they probably wouldn't know the difference between this and the Henn VS either.

If I need a safe, cheap, and most importantly predictable option for the night, these are my suggestions.
BTW: I only drink either cognac or Raynal

OP,

as people drink, whether often or occasionally...they can tell difference. Just don't try to trick them but get Paul Mason and E&J or some cheaper brand. If they down...they will still drink. If not, then consider it their loss and that u don't have to put up with their choosy azzes anyway. No need to lie like this....it would make me wonder what else u lying about.

If you can get this shyt for cheap, pour it in the bottle and call it a day. It's the closest thing I've tasted to Hennessy and I've done the bait and switch with it many times and nobody ain't know the difference. There's also a brandy called Napoleon, often in a green bottle. That works well too.
