But the statistics prove Rollins only injures someone every 368 matches, while Nia does it every 39.5 matches :troll:

Clearly the numbers don't lie.

Nia is sloppier in the ring but Seth's three injuries were worse. He put Cena and Balor out of action for months and retired Sting. Nia's worst caused injury I believe was breaking Becky's nose, although in some of her other incidents the other wrestler could just have been lucky I guess. But it's clear they called her up too soon and they should've been honing her skill down in NXT longer.

But wait, there's more! Nia also hasn't done herself any favors by coming off entitled and a little whiny at times. That's gonna irk everyone, especially since the perception is she's literally only in her spot because of Dwayne.
But it’s all good with them when entitled daddy’s boy CAWdy bytches and whines on Twitter :francis:

Nia is a case of more than one thing being true at the same time.

She's not the safest worker and that's just the tea on that. I feel like she needed more time down in developmental and if she'd gotten it we may not be having this conversation because given that her style is in no way complex or technical, it speaks to a lack of fundamentals for her to make the kind of mistakes she does.

That being said, it's also true that the wrestling klandom... I mean, fandom, is ten times harder on her because she's a woman of color. These are the same people who drag Naomi, Sasha, and Bianca. The same folks who were furious with Titus and New Day for not rolling out the red carpet for Hulkkk. The same folks chanted Pearl Harbor at Kairi. The same folks defending Lars and saying they hope he hasn't lost his push. Nia ain't got the complexion for protection so they are going to go in on her with no restraint.

But wait, there's more! Nia also hasn't done herself any favors by coming off entitled and a little whiny at times. That's gonna irk everyone, especially since the perception is she's literally only in her spot because of Dwayne.

So yeah, it's a lot more going on here than *just* how people feel about Nia's in ring abilities or lack thereof.
Stop caping for human filth. Nia is garbage she isn’t good that’s it. She is her spot because of the rock, so is Tamina.
Nia isn’t in the top 30 any of the women on all the rosters now.
Be honest is Nia better than the following;
Sasha
Bayley
Becky
Charlotte
Naiomi
Ruby
Lacey
Asuka
Sonya
Candance
Shana
Ember
Mikki
Nikki
Mandy
Bianca
Alicia Fox who is terrible but has the basics down
Rhea
Toni Storm
You going to honestly say Nia is more talented than these people? She isn’t being held back.

I don't know where I "caped" for Nia. I pointed out that this aint an either or situation. This is an AND situation. I really don't know why people like to pretend that online only one thing at a time can be true.

So, to take on your points: Hell no I'm not going to say Nia is more talented than anyone on that list because, to me, she isn't. I don't even like KKKLandy Rose and I can be honest enough to say that Nia isn't as good as she is in the ring *or* on the mic. Like I said Nia isn't a safe worker and needed more time in developmental. Also, like I said Nia is going to be hit with more criticism and be judged more harshly by the wrestling klandom because she's not a white woman. You don't have to like that, but if you think the same folks that heckled Kairi, swear Bianca is overrated trash, dragged Sasha to hell and back (long before the Paige thing) and routinely call Naomi all kinds of crap from "dancing slave" to "ugliest woman in the WWE" and tweet racist stuff like "America isn't your country, Africa is" at her on the regular are somehow going magically take it easy on Nia then you don't see the things EYE see. And like I said, Nia's attitude irks a lot of folks.

Facts: Nia needed to spend way more time in NXT honing her craft. She is in her spot because of her size and her connection to The Rock. She's not a safe worker and her attitude (which is also a whole nother dog whistle because WOC having an "attitude" isn't treated the same as white women having an attitude but I digress) turns a lot of people off.

Facts: Women of color do not get the same benefit of the doubt as their white counterparts by these fans. They don't get the same support and they don't get the same protection. Period. And before you "not all wrestling fans" you can keep it. Because no, not all, but ENOUGH so that it's an issue. There's zero sense in pretending water isn't wet just because Nia's got trash ring work.

All of these things can be true at the same time and in Nia's case, all of them are. You disagree with any of that? Show me the lie.

I think that's an *and* situation too lol. First, let's just call a thing a thing. WOC having anything close to an "attitude" gets judged a whole lot harsher than white men and *especially* white women having an attitude, particularly online (like honestly, Lana's attitude is far more stank than Nia's if we're keeping it 100) so anything remotely negative Nia says or does is gonna get a disproportionate reaction from a lot of these fans. But I also think, that a lot of folks genuinely stan Cody and find him likeable *and* him being Dusty's son gets him a lot of goodwill and leeway *and* a lot of people who may not necessarily be a fan of him as a wrestler are a fan of what he's doing and give him a bit of a pass based on that.

Agree w everything except I would put Nia on par or above a handful of those names on the list. Lol at "human filth" :comeon: @Francis White always feels the need to be extra with these insults against WWE women he hates.

Nia's calling was to be the enforcer for someone like Bliss, it would work seamlessly. Instead they forced her to be her own entity too fast when it's clear she wasn't ready.

If she didn't regain momentum with that Becky incident she'd be floundering around doing nothing right now.

This Nia situation actually reminds me of what happened with Brie Bella. Here we have another woman of color who fans already don't like for various reasons going out and being a danger not only to herself but her opponents. She injured someone - a person the fans don't even like, unlike Nia's thing - and the floodgates open and nikkas start going off.

What was interesting was the response after the fans started going OD. Brie, while being Latina, does have a pretty close proximity to whiteness within her public image. Because of that, you had people coming out of the woodwork to defend her. The backlash was never really acknowledged on air, and every person with even a modicum of clout in the wrestling business or the blogs was coming out to condemn the audience.

Nia? Nothing really. WWE turned it into an angle and kept it pushing. No large number of people have really come to her defense, and now we have videos like this trying to mathematically prove she sucks. The same thing happened with Sasha and Paige, where Paige herself kind of became secondary as people started going in on Sasha and no one spoke up in Sasha's defense. Well, except Paige herself, who folks just ignored in favor of coming up with conspiracy theories that Sasha wanted to end her career.

That's always the more telling thing to me. I expect wrestling fans to be OD and go too hard even with legitimate gripes cause that's what they do. I'm always more curious to see which people everyone else decides are worthy of defense and which ones aren't. The backlash (or lack thereof) to the backlash is often times more illuminating, I think.
