Well they were the hottest sneakers for men 30 - 50 growing up. It's a status symbol for some of us. Able to afford the speakers we wanted when we were younger but couldn't get. Nothing wrong with it. Just keep them clean
Same.

I'll buy some J's every now and then if there's a colorway that really appeals to me. Rocked Payless until middle school...mom told me that it never made sense to spend $$$$$ on sneakers for little kids when your feet are constant growing.

We couldn't afford em anyway.

Grown man that can comfortably afford it? Best time to buy. Especially as a telecommuting breh. Don't have to invest in Dockers and Loafers too much

I’m shocked nggas still fw Jordan’s. They been retroeing the same J’s 20 years now :heh: Not to mention nggas don’t even dress like that no more.

1’s are the only ones that move me, moreso lows, bc you can still rock a smooth fit with it —-any other Jordan just screams young ngga

:russ: you gotta be 50+ with excellent grillmaster/smoker skills and ashy knees/ankles. Need gray hair or clear male pattern baldness and at least a decent mustache

I got like a few pair if J's and Penny's when I was younger, but hated asking for them. So by 14, I bought my own shoes. Christmas money, back to school money, job etc. From 14 on I bought all my own gear.

1. 40 year olds are the ones that grew up on J’s. We been here since the beginning.

2. Wtf kinda shoes should 40 year olds be wearing if they just can’t wear Jordan’s? I mean I don’t even wear them like that(I only got the cement 4s) but there’s nothing wrong with folks westing them.

Hell nah!!

Something like this at 40

👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

And I was just sayin 1s are the only ones I’d now rock….and this fit proves why I’ve recently changed that to only 1 LOWS

You definitely don’t wear mid/high sneakers with that fit :hhh: Really it’s not a Jordan fit at all. Goofies up an otherwise nice fit.
