People who are in situations/rooms where they aren't natural are seen as corny.
Jay is a real nikka, a hustler. He knows the game. Because he has so much dough and is more than a rapper and hustler he rubs elbows with people outside of that sandbox and the majority of those people are fake as fukk.
Face it, people only like black people when they are c00ning. If Jay was on dozens of talk shows showing all of his teeth, dancing with Ellen and rapping. He'd be one of the most famous people on Hollywood.
But he keeps his circle tight and does what's necessary to make moves and nothing extra therefore when people see him they think he's weird or corny.

I enjoy a few of his songs. I don't think he's the greatest but he's far from the worst. I don't usually think about him because I'm not a big fan and his success or failure has no impact on my life.
