Ok so he has a clear cut match of the year with morishima and a bunch of debatable ones. Vs cena at summer slam was one of the best ones but not clearly. Him vs reigns was good but nah wasn’t the best of 15

That’s one more then Dean Malenko who was of a very similar in ring ability before Bryan got spot fest-y in wwe

I’m saying what Bryan matches does tsc refer to when they call bryan the best wrestler in the world and what years were those matches the best matches of he year. For as much shyt as people make fun of cena, he has maybe three matches in his career that could be considered match of the year with one definite being vs hbk at mania a few years ago and another being vs punk at mania. Yeah those guys are all time talent but what makes the bryan vs cena match better then those? What makes Bryan match vs punk better then punk vs Jericho that same year? Bryan to me is always around top five ish talents but never the clear cut best wrestler in the world ever. Him only having one match of the year clear cut bout supports that to me
Punk has had more then two, same with hbk, same with aj styles, same with taker, same with macho man, rock, Austin, Bret, Benoit, okada, tanahashi, nakamura, omega
Bryan is like a step shorter then those guys yet has this reputation as he best wrestler in the world even when he wasn’t having the best matches for several years. He’s like around Eddie Guerrero edge etc but I don’t know how people call Bryan the best in the world when he was consistently good but never outstanding when it comes to match quality like others abt their peak. His most memorable matches both came at mania 13 and we’re ok. His best match in Wwe either was with cena or punk but weren’t the best matches those guys had that year. His best match in roh was 07 and was and still is the best work he ever did and most people don’t know it and I was there

INSIDE the E, I stopped watching heavily after 2015, but nobody was touching Bryan. I've never gotten the love affair for rollins outside of the 2/3 weeks he was trying to be Jeff Hardy. Cena was on a roll but Bryan was getting TVMOTYC outta Randy on multiple occasions as well as a MOTYC with HHH in 2014
Ok I can make it a bit fair and concede he was the best wrestler in Wwe for maybe a year and a half
I do believe his in ring work got very weak imo when he became very cartoony and no selling which is what many people shyt on a lot of other guys with less skill then Bryan had but nobody makes light of bryan especially when he would spam corner dropkicks or suicide dives and what not
But I don’t get this idea he was the best in the world at all. Nakamura had better matches in nxt then most of bryan best Wwe matches.
