A good shocker for this match would to have Roman either submit or have Brock fade in the guillotine.

I think it's a 7, but it had potential to be so much more because it was destroyed by bad booking. The matches were awesome, but people were just invested in seeing two true heavyweights go at it. They didn't care about the story, they just care about the match.
So I would say it would be better off as a Shoot/MMA match, than a Wrestling match, because WWE is unable to draw heat other than saying, "Here is Roman and Lesnar, FIGHT!"

Is there an actual rivalry here?
They had one really good match six years ago in spite of some of the worst buildup a WrestleMania main event has ever received, and part of the reason that match is a classic has nothing to do with them (with all due respect because the match was dope regardless).
Then they ran it back three years later and it was one of the worst WrestleMania main events ever. The kind of match I was expecting them to have the first time. Not only was it hard to watch, the wrong guy won. Then every other match they had that year was cartoonish bullshyt that nobody wants to remember.
I don't know what kind of match they'll have this time, but it could go either way. The role reversal makes the story more interesting, and Reigns is apparently putting in high-quality work right now, but he's not who I'm worried about. It's Lesnar. I don't know if he's actually going to be allowed to work this time.

I wasn't angry cuz we had WM30 in New Orleans just 4 years earlier so I was likeand was just happy we somehow got two WMs in 4 years.
But damn it was like night and day with WM30 compared to WM34.
I remember after the match it was just silence for like four minutes (because WWE was playing the recap package to people watching on TV but not to the live audience) and then Roman music started playing again as he limped up the ramp. Some fans was like "wait this nikka still out here?"
I'd almost argue WM34's ending was the worst/most uneventful in WM history unless there was another one that rivals it that escapes my mind.
I was there that night. In my section, we all thought Roman was going to win, so we were trolling with the chants. We were yelling for Carmella to cash in on Brock
. We were disappointed when Brock won, because we were tired of his matches and all those damn suplexes

Yeah I’m just gonna echo what’s been said. This pairing has produced one good match 6 years ago and has been nothing but mediocre since. Hopefully with alignments changed and an actual story here it’ll be different this time around
Paul Heyman being caught in the middle is real nice touch.
A huge swerve to this that no one would see coming would be if Paul turned on both and screwed Roman out of the title so that his secret new guy Big E can cash in and win it..
The seeds have been laid for this with Big E/Paul’s weird but not tense backstage interactions as well as Paul always co-signing Big E on talking smack the way he did Roman a few years ago.. you can also have kofi get at least some kind of revenge on Brock in this scenario as well by attacking Brock during the match when the ref isn’t looking or something lol..
This would probably require new day turning heel again which I doubt would happen since they sell a lot of merch and little jimmy loves them so much, but that would most def be a creative/different twist to this feud if anything..
Either way, forget the notions of Brock or The Rock taking the title from Roman, that honor should go to a young and upcoming face of the company-type star like Big E, Montez, Omos, etc..
