I look at a cat who cant swim like he didnt have a childhood.

this, lived in panama as a youngin so I stayed at the beach.
once we came back to the states I was at the pool year round.

Top notch swimmer right here... For some reason I couldn't really learn in my apartments swimming pool but I went to Oklahoma to visit some fam and all them nikkas could swim and went swimming everyday. All the hoes were swimming I wasn't gonna get left behind so my uncle taught me..

My son and my nephew went to summer camp and learned how to swim in a week when they were 5 and 6.

Its all mental though, once you overcome that fear of drowning and dying. you good

I never understood that stereotype, like black folk don't goto summer camps when they younger
the summer camps I went to were all black when I was younger and nikkas went swimming at least twice a week

If I stayed in queens I would've kept with it cause half my squad planned on going to St. Francis Prep and the other half went to Chaminade

I used to be part of a swimming club doing comps but I quit
