My ideal life would be finally buying that private island I been wanting for the longest, building a resort on one side and my home on the other. Spending days on my side of the Isle relaxing and writing books and scripts.
What would your ideal life be like?

I'm not the biggest fan of huge houses. I like the long brick one story ranch homes on a couple of acres of land in a nice family oriented conscious blk neighborhood.
I'm married and in the middle of my phd program which pays me for a research assistanceship and gives me a living stipend so I don't work. I'm a stay at home wife.
I grow my own food and we sell stuff at the market on the weekends.
He's a tenured professor and I'll eventually be there too. So he only really works 4 days a week. Together we bring in about 90-100k.
He's a total geek like me and on weekends we fukk, cook, and watch movie marathons and anime. He also helps me build up my sneak points on Skyrim so I can straight jack idiots for their coin purses standing right in front of them.
Eventually I tell him that I've been saving seed money b/c I wanna open a geek lounge where people can come and get good food and drinks and discuss geeky shyt in a safe, yet stylish haven. It'll be called the Philosopher's Stone or some shyt like that.
When we get older and retire we'll travel around the world looking for mysterious ancient artifacts like two blk azz tomb raiders. Eventually we'll end up sitting on our porch in two rocking chairs chuckling at how the rest of the world may have got it wrong, but we got it right with each other.

My dream life would consist of getting my degree ( a masters) in graphic design and programming and then be one of the greatest graphic designers/programmers in the world, requested to design everything from websites to video games. eventually, with enough money saved up , i would own my on graphic design firm-chicago would be an great place to locate. and then I would freely volunteer my time every weekend to teach coding to minority children and give out internships. Speaking of Chicago, I would get an decent condo, all decked out in the latest tech and art, in an majority black mixed income area. I have no interest in living in an house (see morgage crisis) for myself but I would be interested in owning property and several other businesses. Traveling every summer around the world would be a must.

Idk. Enough to live comfortably.
What would you do?
I wanted to be Family & Marriage counselor as a career. I think in a perfect world I would own a health food store or a beauty supply store. And do hair on the side. I would travel and teach yoga and meditation.
Where would you live?
Someplace where I can have mango and coconut trees in my backyard. Trinidad would be ideal so I can connect with my family.
What would your house look like? Warm and inviting, with lots of Windows and a big kitchen and dining room. A guest bedroom with a nice backyard to play volleyball/soccer or for the kids to run around in.
How much would it cost?
No idea. But I'd also be happy with a condo/apartment near a park or beach.
What would your husband look like?

Friendly, funny, affectionate and active. Loves food and liming. Great people person and honest and keeps his word. Loves animals and kids and talking about abstract ideas like spiritually and the universe and "what if" questions.
What would he do?
He'd be really handy and fix stuff around the house. He would probably help out with the shop. Or be financially savvy. He would be involved in the community.
How much would he make? Enough.

My ideal life would be cafe owner, freelance writer/blogger. I also want to have a community program and garden popping.
If I was married we would either be working together or he would have his own career I don't have a career preference for him. I'd just want him to be successful as far as his goals and able to provide.
Either way I would want to live in either the American style historical type home with a porch or a modern style with sleek lines.
If married 2 or 3 kids but if not I'm good with the one.
I never wanted to be rich I want to be comfortable to offered everything I have and travel. I would also love a vacation home somewhere.
A kitten/cat if my kids want pets they can have them.

Gotta learn to manage your money and save, save, save. I'd protect my child and family at all costs through a will and other avenues. But most of all, I want to be happy, and just be in love forever.

Ideally I'd like to hold a high position in a corporation or organization making a decently large amount of money. I want a hobby to satisfies me. I think I'd like to write novel. But besides all of that, I'd like a smart, driven and proud wife to steward my future children.

I'll be married to another young Black professional (Latina/Middle-Eastern isn't too bad either) and I'll be working my dream BigLaw or Academia job living in an upper-middle class neighborhood/college neighborhood.
No kids, but two cute dogs.
No debt.
A nice sized house 4+ bedrooms, 2+ bedrooms.
East or West Coast, but I'll settle for a beautiful city like Chicago or Ann Arbor.
Excess money to travel, and indulge in a nice car or two.
Romantic outings at least a few times a month.
