Boko Haram is just a more organized version of what Muslin northerners have been doing since the beginning of Nigeria. This organization gives them guidance now. In the past, aljirimis (muslim street children) who read the Koran all day and night and take orders from northern Muslim politicians and the Sokoto Caliphate. These young men are very easy to recruit into Boko Haram and in fact many Muslim sympathizers within the Nigerian military are also doing some of the killings, but they will never tell you that. Nigeria was born to fail, too many differences. If the north wants to have a full Islamic state, then give it to them. Their politicians take the lion's share of the country's resources and can't do shyt. Dangote is also a fraud, he earned all his money by getting government contracts. He got that shyt because he one of the few Hausas that went to college, which is very rare among them. That is enough for you to get government contracts that can make you or any of us a billionaire. Very easy to diversify after making a few billion dollars, now he wants to buy oil fields in the south, where they make the locals suffer. It gets more complicated than this, but Nigeria needs more than a north-south split.

what do you suppose happens after a north south split? it's hard to believe that the muslim north will stop their aggression. Appeasement never works.

I'm saying what's preventing the south from arming and defeating them along with the governments military? How can a random group out gun the nations military??

Who's funding them? I assume arab terror groups. I've read that christians, muslims, politicians and people w agendas are funding them.

Most of Boko Haram's victims are non-Salafists Muslims and Christian minorities that live in the North and Middle Belt part of the country. Southern Nigerians are not being targeted here unless they might happen to live in those areas. Cities like Lagos, Port Harcourt and Calabar have not been terror targets.

If the north splits Boko Haram will still fight for the people to be under complete submission of the Sokoto Caliphate, I'm talking a complete Islamic state. North and South split will only lead to more splits on the South. So all splits will occur at the same time. The south itself can split into 3-4 countries alone. The people that will have the hardest time making a decision are the people that stay in the middle belt, who are mostly Christian. The middle belt is the area where the north and south meet. The middle belt was part of the "Core North" historically and fell in line with the rest of the muslim north since independence until about the late 90s, early 2000s when muslim Hausa/Fulanis started causing major riots trying to take over the land of middle belt people so they raise their cattle on it. Since then, riots spring up often where 100s or 1000s are killed in a matter of a day although it has been relatively quiet. Now, they hate the muslim north with a passion and want nothing to do with them. Im a hate so high, they will kill a Hausa, roat his body and eat him just to show them they are not playing games :sadcam: Fulanis are hell bent on taking over their land and have already taken over some parts of Kwara state.

Boko Haram and their sympathizers will be killed quickly in the South if they started that shyt down there. Back in the early 2000s, I was in Aba and some people received the bodies of their relatives and family members that were killed by muslims during the riots in Jos. The reprisal attacks from some of the victims villages were brutal against Hausas living in Aba. If Boko Haram starts doing what they are doing in the North in the South, Nigeria will be officially done...you can book it.

:mjlol:

It would make no sense for Christians to go about funding Boko Haram dude. Those people would be better off jumping from Aso Rock to their death. Boko Haram at one point bombed a church every Sunday for almost a year. Christmas day and Easter attacks are very common. I had a couple of relatives killed by these animals. Almost all, 95% of attacks by Christians on Muslims in Nigeria are reprisal (revenge) attacks. That is why with all the madness, you rarely here of attacks of muslims in the south. Right now, Boko Haram has been operating in the muslim North, they have killed most Muslim men who they feel are against Boko Haram presence and have bee helping the military to help find them. They also attack the smaller Christian populations in the north like they did last week. Buhari is a politician that has been rumored to funded them to create instability after not losing the 2011 election to a Christian Southerner, Goodluck Jonathan. Most of the funds are coming from Arab terrorist groups.

Nigeria's economy has grown by an average of 6.8 percent annually since 2005 and could soon eclipse that of South Africa as the biggest on the continent. The country is rich in oil, with about 37 billion barrels of proven crude reserves, but this has become something of a liability -- the capital-intensive energy sector does little for employment and broad-based growth, leaving an unemployment rate of at least 23 percent.

Nigeria's government is bytch made.
i don't like US intervention..... but what's stopping the US??

also , I noticed that people ignore all the nigerian islamic villages that are destroyed. I remember once 12 Christians dies and hundreds of Muslims were killed and it was branded in the media as Boko Haram attacking Chrisitans, mhc.
