What were they trying to accomplish by putting Owen in The Nation?

:troll:

"thats why I kicked your leg out of your leg"

me and my sisters still quote that to this day..even a botched promo is classic... shows how shytty these new age wrestlers are on the mic...

Owen delivered that promo with so much anger and conviction it didnt really matter if he fumbled over his words.. because 9/10 when you are angry in real life thats exactly what you do

I never realised how pervasive and all-encompassing the racial situation was in America until I started posting on :hamster:/here

Everything seems to get linked back to it regardless of whether it actually has anything to do with the situation

Not sure, but it made sense, and I loved it. Owen was really doing much, as it seemed like they were punishing him for the rest of the Hart Foundation leaving before, but everything Owen did during the Nation was money.

You didn't need this site to tell u that. It was understood when they shot down King in 68 in Memphis.

literally everything in existence is about race.... there's quotes of black wrestlers saying they were called n***ers and quotes of a white wrestler (very hart) saying he didn't mix with some guys because they walked around the locker room calling people n***ers .... hell even Kevin Owens called a black wrestler a n***er during an Indy show during a promo...

also NOD was an all black stable at the time (original had a white guy and a Puerto Rican but then switched to some black power shyt) then They add a white man to a black power group....

while we are on the topic of NOD xpac dressed up in black face to be mark Henry... black face has been used to demean black people throughout time. and x Pac dressed in black face and made "mizzark" Henry sound like a buffoon... jay lethal didnt paint himself white when he was imitating macho man and ric flair...and even if he did "white face" isnt a thing.... while we are on the topic... rowdy piper did black face as well.

triple H flat out told Booker t on live television "people like you don't
get to be champion" then beat his asss at wrestlemania...

the "black heart" was obviously a play on the NOD being a black power stable... Owen was a cool guy and maybe he didn't
see it that way but management definitely had an agenda when they made him a member.

everything involving black people has to do with race because we are generally not liked ..some dude said "black players shouldn't be quarter backs" on air.... it's everywhere

I agree with most of that but Owen was being called the Black Hart about a month after Montreal, way before he joined the Nation
