My uncle let me watch Commando when I was 5, I liked it so much he gave the VHS to me. My mom didn't like it but I rocked that shyt all day everyday like the kids these day with their Shrek or Nemo

this is a true statement, plenty of movies from the 80's didn't age well.
Well scriptwise/screenplays were pretty lame.
