Some other thrown together teams people may or may not have forgotten about.
Charlie Haas, even with winning the tag titles again and having Jackie Gayda by his side, he really suffered post-WGTT. Plus, just look at this damn team

Billy Gunn and Hardcore Holly weren't doing much around this time, so teaming them made sense sort of as two vets. But again, you knew they weren't going anywhere (and shouldn't anyway), but them having a finisher called the GHB (Gunn-Holly Bomb) was
Once again, two vets that weren't doing much so they just put them together based on Viscera in his largest love machine gimmick, and Val Venis back in his porn gimmick, except supposedly he wasn't a performer anymore, but a director (tee hee)
I thought Rene Dupree had a lot of potential after La Resistance, and should have done way more than he did. Dude was super young and had the look that Vince wanted, and was basic in the ring with enough flair to stand out. Kenzo Suzuki an the other hand was trash from day one. ). Thankfully that didn't happen, cause he was sorry as shyt in the ring, like a quicker Giant Gonzalez. I don't even know what led to Dupree and Kenzo teaming together, but they did, and beat Paul London and Billy Kidman for the tag titles. They stood out, but ehhhhhhhhh.....
