You gotta just be following the narrative with the rest of the wrestling dorks because that match wasn't bad as ya'll say. If anything it was just average.
I can name plenty of main events worse than that.

Yea that match wasn’t nearly as bad as people made it out to be. The crowd would’ve been better had they had that first WCW match in the South instead of the East coast like I think it was in, plus, Bagwell got blown up pretty early, along with him having that early Orton chinlock offense. Booker T tries his damn way to carry him.

I just found out that Goldberg hurt himself when he did his headbutt to the door, and he legitimately didn't know where he was. And when he ran into the turnbuckle, he fukked himself up more because the material was different than the ones used on RAW and SmackDown. So it looks like he was wrestling with a concussion.
The wild shyt was... how you run this three month storyline that has all the makings of a knock-down drag-out match... but shortly before Mania, there's this rule implemented that HHH loses the title if he's disqualified so he can't get out of control, which makes the match way more tame than it should've been. Not that I was expecting it to be gory, but it was just a regular standard match. It's like these two MFs didn't wanna brutalize eachother for the last three months. shyt made no sense and I remember bein' bored AF watching it. shyt, the next night's RAW was more climactic than the main event of Mania was. They had a whole McMahon fam/Legacy schmozz and Batista came back to whoop Legacy's ass... they coulda thrown all that in the Mania match!

Rollins vs the Fiend. I have absolutely nothing to add to the conversation about this match that hasn’t already been said over and over and over again. Everything that sucked about this initially and immediately will always suck about it. The action is modestly lame, the booking is astronomically bad, and the acting is embarrassing and amateur. None of it is good in even a bad way. We’re all worse off having witnessed this match even happening. There are mechanically worse matches than this one but the sum of all its parts, not just the bell to bell action, make it the worst ever to me
