Quik and Free seem closer then ever right now, I'm very excited about the prospect of a new Suga Free album with DJ Quik closely involved.
For new years DJ Quik made a surprise appearance at the Suga Free show. He didn't really perform except for a second, didn't seem like he really planned on it either but someone handed him a mic during his song. When his verse first came on he wasn't performing it, he seemed to of adopted a "God-complex" and was just watching over the crowd - he was wearing John Lennon glasses and I was wondering if he had possibly been thinking about how successful a Suga Free project would be today. I showed extra support for Suga Free for this reason
