I really don't recall a story like that, I mean dudes would get pushes after being with a new manager and a gimmick change or face/heel turn before like jack swagger after linking up with zeb but this was a fresh modern twist to it...thought it was pretty compelling

Hence once Shibata threw in the towel, so did my damns for professional wrestling. In a way, Shibata was last of a dying breed and my sole reason to even be a wrestling fan in my 30s. Yet, when dude damn near died for the business, it dawned on me that what's the point of this shyt?
