What Was The Last "Iconic" Teen Movie?

just watched 'not another teen movie' on netflix (a low-key decent flick) which parodied a lot of classic teen movies and it made me wonder what was the last memorable teen movie that came out was?

....superbad? .........mean girls in '04?

I wonder why hollywood doesn't make these types of movies anymore

As good as Edge of Seventeen was, there's not anything particularly "iconic" about it. It didn't carve out a place in pop culture lexicon at all.

Superbad is the last one to do that.
