First game I can remember playing is super metroid at 4. Game scared the shyt outta me.

I know it's not the first game I've ever played because my mom told me I use to try playing the original zelda game as a baby but I was scared of the caves and shyt lol.

My mom was a huge gamer back in the day so I had access to every system and most of the classics since my mom kept up with all the major gaming magazines and knew which games were good.

Your timeline and age don't matchup unless she had you playing old games. A four year old has no business playing super metroid (too hard) and and Zelda came out before you was born. Another game too advanced for a toddler.

What year :mjpls:

old man :old:
For me.. Combat on Atari, age 3.

Atari boxing and pacman was my early favorites...

I'm 34, so...I guess 86'. Yeah, about makes sense as I remember NES came out very shortly after me first playing a game and then me getting one some months later.

I think the first games I remember playing are Duck Hunt and that Track & Field game over my cousin's house when I was a kid.

Sounds about right. In 85' I remember going to a mall and seeing super Mario bros for the first time. A week later I meet a new friend, go to his house, he had a NES which I never even heard of with SMB.

To put it into context it was like going to somebodies house and they had a PS5 in 2016. I only knew of Atari :wow:

You missed the part where I said we had all the systems?

My mom had all her systems hooked to a big entertainment system, all you needed to do was hit a switch to change systems. Why wouldn't a kid play every game available to him?

Also, my mom bought games for herself, and just let me and my brother play them, we didn't own games for kids.

I beat oot within a year of release, I've been playing advanced games from an early age
