What was special about Drive-In theaters? Why did they dwindle out?

I never been to one, can't they offer blue tooth now so the audio can play in everyone's car. That would be dope.

It was cool since if you had a good angle everyone in the car could look at what they wanted, especially if you had a portable radio. Used to go to the one in Concord when i was a kid.

I remember two drive-in theaters in PG county. One was on Marlboro Pike and the other was on Central Ave. The one on Central Ave used to show porn at night :mjlit:

I wanna try one but it’s like two hours away and movie theaters are open.

Might take a shorty come summer time though.
