People don't go to the movies as much breh and with streaming and cable putting out quality shyt it's the new wave. Get used to it.

A guy like Chris Hemsworth would have been a huge draw back in the day. He's got all the typical leading man tools. Yet most of his films outside marvel flop.
On top of that there's not many barriers or stigmas attached to tv or direct to films anymore.
Back in the day you'd never movie stars doing tv shows and it was extremely rare for a TV star to star in films. Nowadays you see it all the time.
"Names" just don't carry that weight anymore.

I think direct to video has gotten a bad rap, when you hear that you think of steven segal/dolph lundgren type movies but theres alot of ching ching to make. Plus these joints still have a decent size budget
