Baker Mayfield is trash breh. No way Jimmy sucks like him. They got washed today against the Ravens. Jimmy looked nothing like that when the Niners played the Ravens last season.

I don't think Jimmy is trash, I think he's probably a better QB than Baker. I just don't understand how Kyle has built this offense because none of these receivers fit Jimmy's skillset. Jimmy isn't a freestyle QB and doesn't have the mobility to improvise when shyt breaks down or keep defenses honest. We have zero receivers who can stretch the field vertically to open up some of that intermediate, horizontal space. So secondaries just squat at the sticks and compress the field. We could overcome that if we had receivers who could get open in a phonebooth and beat coverage off the line but we don't. Jimmy is an anticipation, tempo QB that needs to trust his WRs but all we have are bubble screen YAC dudes.

To keep it a buck. 49ers have done a shyt job with WRs. Deebo was just luck. We haven't had a TO type receiver since well TO.

My question is why not bite the bullet and take a risk on Dez and AB? They haven't drafted well at the position. Not many QB's would look great with what we have right now. Deebo is the only proven WR we have.
