We're definitely not picking up his 5th-year option dude can't do shyt in Pass Pro.
I bet we do
Solid tackles are hard to find and McG’s a solid tackle

Yea.... at minimum.... he is solid..... still young...... I wouldn’t dump him that quick
Thing about trent was that he was getting a fat contract in FAI think Kyle values run blocking just as much, if not more, than pass blocking on the OL
Trent Brown was really good in pass pro but a poor run blocker. Then Kyle drafted McG and traded Trent in the 2018 draft. McG’s shaky in pass pro but he’s good enough at run blocking to stick around

I think it was both. They already paid Jimmy by that point and so the cap space wasnt all that large. They thought Brown wasnt for their scheme, which is true. And they thought theyd get a solid run-blocking tackle who could improve in pass pro for their scheme.True
But Kyle/Lynch had a bunch of cap space in 2018. And they haven’t hesitated to give fat contracts to players they considered part of the team’s future plans

It will be a pride decision so he’s getting itI was listening to Haberman and Middlekauff today and they brought out how McG would get $17M+ guaranteed in 2022 if his 5th year option is picked up. I retract my previous statement
I still think McG’s a solid RT for Kyle’s scheme but not $17M a year solid
It will be a pride decision so he’s getting it
I mean we’re lowkey gonna be set up decently for 2021 with a top 15 pick and a 4th place schedule
2 games can be a big dealSOS is only 2 games tho. shyt is so overrated it ain't funny since your schedule is set in stone outside of those 2 games.
The rotation for next season is
6 division games
4 AFC South Games
4 NFC North Games
2 strength of schedule
