THIS WAS A GIFT HORSE AND A POOR DECISION BY SHANALYNCH. He wouls have been our ideal #2. He's an elite blocker and had soft enough hands to be a legit target.

Armstead has sucked this year but in fairness, there weren't better options who would have either cost more in money or draft picks.

Sorry I can't agree. I'll take a dominant defensive force over a TE. I don't believe a TE makes or breaks your team. Especially one that stays injured.

Getting rid of those three said players would have been worth it to keep Buckner.

Especially if you have Bosa. You can get a damn 3rd rounder on the other side to produce better than bum Armstead.

We can all agree that Buckner’s a better player than Armstead. We might even have a better record right now with Buckner still on the team. But I don’t think Buckner by himself turns this team from 4-5 to a true SB contender

The point is when Bosa is playing you can have a cheap mediocre DE on the other side, instead of overpaying for a bum like Armstead.

Buckner was a pivotal part of the defense. I have to argue if the Colts had a better QB that they would be leading their division right now and possibly undefeated. Colts defense looks totally different with Buckner.


And nobody could come in here and make us have a better record with all these injuries.

They need to get A NEW TRAINING STAFF....Again. Some of these cats are injury prone, definitely but not all these players getting hurt. It's obvious there is something wrong.

All of Atmstead's sacks last year came from the inside. With both Ford and Bosa out, Atmstead is having to play almost exclusively on the edge, which is not his string suit at all... He's not an edge rusher.

That is ultimately the demise of the Niners this season. Too many injury prone players
