What type of quests in games do u avoid like the plague?

get's told collect all this shyt to get all the pieces and get the item...

either never get the item or use trainer to give myself all the pieces and instantly get the item...

4 hours later game breaks cause i got the whole item but one piece of the item is a main story quest but i already have the piece through the trainer so now the scene where i get the piece won't play

Break or collect X amount of X item that is conveniently hidden throughout the game in order to get a reward that is borderline useless in the endgame.

Any quest were the reward is just a reskinned version of a weapon that you already have.

I don't like it in general when you have to advance the main quest to complete a side quest. especially when it's not obvious. you searching high and low for item x, but it's in an area you haven't unlocked yet

The main issue is the clunky and incredibly inept A.I. mechanics.


Ex: you see bad guys with guns approaching, you know they are looking for you.

There is a big metallic box next to you, what should you do?


A.I.: stand next to box and get shot while yelling “ouch” towards the players
