I ask because people who do them prison videos always talc about how when you are loccd up you need commissary or you will starve, and that some people only eat from commissary since prison food is so nasty

But my question is, every time I see people get shyt from commissary it's only Ramen noodles, chips, and sweets. Is that really better than prison food? And can you survive off that for years without getting sick? Or is there more food options available in commissary

That’s all there is. Maruchin soups. Honey buns. Different type chips. Chocolate bars. Fish sticks. Tuna.

That’s about all I can think of.

How do Yall cook the fish sticks?

Ate them raw.. or made a goulash with it. Water fountains had hot water faucets on the back.. so the soups were never an issue. I'd throw some hot sauce flavored fish sticks into a bag of crushed up cheetos, and throw in a soup cup. Add the hot water, and then seal up the bag of cheetos. Wait 5 minutes and you're good to go.

They got vienna sausages too. We'd add that sometimes too.

Chain gang delicacies.

Pretty much a 99 cent store but for a lot more than 99 cents.

Processed foods, canned meats, sweets.

If you're Jewish or Muslim you can get different meals than the rest which some say is better.

It's made in a different section than the normal prison food.
Did it look better atleast?

Soups, chips, candy, sodas, snack cakes, cheese, pepperoni, salt, pepper, etc like somebody else said it’s like a corner store. They have variety cause they making money off it.

Are you going to live exclusively off that? Most don’t but what you will do is sub some trays out with that stuff instead of the times when they serve what we called “meat rock”, or when you not feeling other trays
