What the hell is wrong with Texas? They are now against Critical Thinking

Critical thinking classes, at least the ones in my GE reqs, where nothing short of brainwashing courses designed to push the students into agreeing with an, almost always, Liberally biased professor or suffer a lower GPA.

I think Logic, Critical thinking, and Philosophy should be mandatory classes in Middle and High School, as well as college.

shyt should start in elementary. I'm a proponent of bringing back curriculum from the classical school education model. First they focused on logic (how to think, what fallacies you are committing) and then rhetoric (how to use your words to covey your logic and persuade others in arguments) and then studied the history of each subject that is taught and learn from there.

We threw out that model in the bushes over half a century ago if not longer. A lot of people don't even touch a logic course until its a gen ed in college and even then its for one semester. Our nation is ass backwards in the education game.

Also they chose studies based on data from the University of Cali complex, which is prob among the most liberal university systems in the country

Not to say there isn't a lean, but using UC as emblematic of the whole country is a bit dishonest
