What the Hawks need to do

Get a real PG. We need to draft someone who is a very good player who is great at PnR and running an offense. Burke, McCollum or Michael Carter Williams. Teague is talented but he is a tweener and doesn't have PG skills at all.

We need to move Horford to PF and finally run the offense through him. We can't right now because of the personnel but that's what we need to do.

Get a center that can start in the NBA, sorry Zaza. That's been our #1 goal for years.

Josh Smith gotta go. He needs to come off the bench for a contender. I rather us his money and get a true Center in free agency like Dwight Howard or even look at getting Bynum or Pekovic.

Keep and start Korver, start Jenkins are keep the bench players. Resign Teague to be the backup PG but he ain't no starter.

i dunno man...i'm still kind of hesitant about trading Josh....if he won't resign then i say trade him..we could get a fukkload of a lot for Josh Smith....i'm talking draft picks and allstar players....you are right about sliding Horford to the 4....and i think Teague will be fine...there is no player in college better than teague right now so i wouldn't waste a pick, besides we got Devin Harris...he runs the offense a good majority of the time anyway. I think our problem is that we don't have a true center.....maybe a Smoove for Dwight deal could work......hmmmm

Naw, we don't need to trade Josh. We need to sit on this roster and see where it goes, good or bad. LD is clearly replaceable but we knew that already. We are in a too weak conference and we are too talented to really just blow it up and get Wiggins or Parker.

We really need to a get a PnR specialist to play with Horford. We have the talent to run a high IQ offense but Smith and Teague f**k sh*t up and Devin is sorry now like Hinrich was and Lou is a great 6th man but that's about it. You can't put him in a bigger role.

They ain't trading Dwight for Smith. Dwight at 60% is still worth more than Smith. Smith doesn't have half that trade value. Josh Smith is great for video games.

I am impressed with Jenkins and Korver. Korver is a decent player who works hard and fits what our personnel could be. He
is a decent athlete as well.

they need to start over.. i dont think we have ever seen a team look so inept on offense SO many times over the years.. They love josh and AL but that combo gets em to the playoffs and thats cool.. but it never looks like they have thew advantage in a series .. IDK who they should move for who.. but its obvious this core aint it... :ld:

Our offense isn't that bad man, we just don't got the right pieces. We got a lot of movement specialists with a slasher PG with no PG skills and a tweener PF who thinks he is Lebron James. We get a PG like CP3, we can be scary. Yesterday, Chicago size was killing us and they defend extremely well.
