From August 2017 through November 2020, the ONLY replies you ever got from me were April 5-7, 2019 (where I took you off to kill your Kobe finals narrative then put you back on), and November 2-13, 2019 (where I took you off a month earlier to kill your Flat Earth narrative, then put you back on).

PER is an outdated stat breh, everyone knows that. It had a run 10-15 years ago before real analytics came in but no one uses it seriously anymore. I've been on record for years before that thread saying PER isn't all that, that's why I don't use it in arguments.

This writer had no fukking clue what he was talking about. No competent team is evaluating their players based on PER and Win Shares, and those AREN'T ANALYTICS. They're just box score numbers put in an equation.

PER is just box score stats added together and given weight, so it ain't even telling you too much more. But there are things like defense, midrange shooting, and a lot of other stuff about the game that you could never know from a box score that are getting highlighted from advanced stats.

That's because PER puts enormous weight on rebounds, and the formula is too dumb to know that the 8.4 rebounds/game of Westbrook's which are uncontested are completely meaningless to the outcome of the game. Westbrook leads the NBA in uncontested rebounds by a large margin, something that looks good on PER and on triple-double counting stats but is completely meaningless otherwise.

There are several flaws in PER, and that's a big one.

PER is not analytics. PER is just a formula that takes the REGULAR BOX SCORE NUMBERS and puts them together to make one number. It has NOTHING to do with analytics, and you keep embarrassing yourself by claiming it does.

Ethiopia literally translated to "Land of the burnt faces". Essentially "land of the blacks." Thus all Ethiopian meant was a black person. So you're wrong in this regard. People have always seen race.

Now what we've not always had was racism. The belief in the inherent inferiority or superiority of one group over another based simply on race. That's a relatively new notion. But race isn't. People have always grouped each other by our physical features and we've always noticed our differences.

Its not a racial slur without the power dynamics associated with it....

Its impossible for a white woman who is with a black man intimately to be racist.

Simply put its impossible for a white woman to be racist while enganging in a romantic monogamous relationship with a black man.

When a white woman chooses to be in a relationship with a black man she is giving up that power. She is declaring through her actions that she is submitting to the will of the black man. Thus, the normal power dynamics of white/black no longer exist. Now only the power dynamics of husband/wife exist. By submitting to the authority of the black man she can no longer be racist.
