What system should I get first?

So you're a gamer but you've fallen off on whether you'd actually be playing enough or having good experiences?

I'd suggest you cop an Xbox One - not the X - and just purchase the game pass, which is $10 a month.

You'd be able to dabble in a lot of the games available on the system without major commitments.

Not interested in majority releases that have came out. Some I've already mentioned but shyt like overwatch, remakes/reboots, most fighting games this gen (as a major fighter fan), and a few other multi plats and I'm not big on jrpgs like that. At this point I wouldn't be mad at having a few games per system, but I know I'll try more than that. Oni looks kinda dope.

At this point? wait for PS5, Switch 2.0, Xbox 4....they are right around the corner

They likely won’t drop til 2020, and we won’t see a killer app for those until 2021 or 2022. OP clearly doesn’t play games like that, so he/she can simply get a PS4 now and have at the minimum 2 years to enjoy their console.

Especially for that VR (I know it's a low key rip) I want to play that batman and Resident evil game on that. I think I'm burned out on souls games but I wanna at least try bloodbourne.

Really tho depends on preferance, u already have a ps3, so maybe switch it up and go xbone, really depends on you breh

Maybe...but I doubt it ...the PS4 wasn't announced at E3 either it got announced early 2013...PSX event DEC 2018 is more likely for a PS5 announcement either that or early 2019 so it wont fukk with holiday sales

I really don't get it. If they announced PS5 and new XBox then why bother made PS4 Pro and Xbox X?...

No idea but they would be stupid not to that....sony is normally good for extended support for older consoles

X and Pro are just mid-generational upgrades...they didn't have to do all that and could have made them slimmer and thats it
