I get annoyed when a certain demographic seems shocked that I'm accomplished, and "well spoken", however, at this point, I've accepted that they will always have a negative view of us, and no matter what we do, they will always look down on us. So it's not as frustrating as it used to be, because I think, "Of course you feel that way."
Just keep in mind, they love to say "hard work" will make you exempt from racism, but when you're an ivy league educated attorney married to an ivy league attorney, you become president, and they still call you the n-word, that tells you everything you need to know.
Personally, I've been behind the scenes in a lot of white families (before I knew better) and they have no reason to look down on any group. The level of disfunction, drug use, and mediocrity is ridiculous. Now, every group has issues, but only one group obsesses over everyone else's issues, and never their own.

That we're angry and don't know how to listen, but the other races don't have anything interesting to say other than the typical racist talking points, hypocrisy and finger pointing.
Back when being shamed by them meant something (I was young), I was legit confused and would sit there and take it and still get shat on afterward. Nowadays, I drop my $0.02 and keep it moving. I know better. I'm never going to be anything in the eyes of these people, might as well make THEM angry and be the one walking away happy.
It's never a sin to stand up for yourself, and I'll never let a cac or cac apologist preach to me ever again.
