Only in this forum dudes said that shyt was wack and won't last. Microsoft see the future purchase Zenimax for 7 Billy and update their first party studios to over 23. First party games will be a flat rate and you are hearing multiple companies preach the success Gamepass has bought them.

Compared to titles being 70 dollars from Sony. More companies are joining gamepass bolstering the lineup. The user base months ago were 18 million and pretty sure it had grown.

Currently this is the gaming lineup for Microsoft Gamepass

I think theyll get something going akin to Gamepass first. The Xcloud situation is going to be something that requires much more planning because its success could change console gaming as we know it. It will eventually become a new competitor to consoles and pc. The limitations of the console base is holding it back. Eventually, at least with MS I think they plan to develop their Xbox games as a PC medium. Xbox will become a marketplace like Steam is but the games will be pc and streamed. I dont think Sony wants to do that ultimately. MS is a pc company that uses more pcs to develop less capable Xbox consoles and games at a very expensive overhead. Just making PC games with their PCs to deliver to your xbox brand seems better for everyone. Cheaper and better spec'd games

Gamepass is 2 and a half years old. What numbers is it suppose to be competing with? If you mean profit and bottom line then it's probably the most profitable addition to gaming any company had ventured into in the last decade or so outside of mobile games.



Gamepass isn't just a system seller. You don't need to have a system to enjoy it, you just need something that plays gamepass.

They’re gonna have to develop or secure some games that people will keep playing after the initial story.

There’s already 20 million Gamepass subscribers, the question of its success/viability has already been answered. It will only go up from here as more Xbox hardware becomes available and more games release.
