I don't know how old you are but I will say that overall the old Rockports where the most comfortable shoe I ever wore. They do look like orthopedic shoes but they were comfortable as hell.
The second most comfortable shoes I wore were Wallabees I used to even play basketball in them.
The Bankrobbers were comfortable too and the most durable and versatile shoes I wore where Clark's Desert boots
And like Nas in the picture you look kind crazy wearing a T- shirt and Jeans so after that I kinda started wearing the causal friday button up look.
yeah I'm showing my age in the 80's they were the jam. I looked on their website they don't have the ones I used to rockrockports were the thing, they have lost their style. most their new boots look like those things the goth and punkrock girls wear. you know the boots i am talking about?
but yeah rockports used to be the joints.

yeah they held down the late 80s and all the 90s.
the white kids with money and style used to wear them. they were always out my reach but rockport now have lost their aesthetics. i dont even think they even care no more lol.

Some of the most comfortable shoes in the world sorta like wearing pillows on your feet. Not as durable as desert Boots though.
