I love the whole Nightmare on Elm Street series, but that shyt had me shook as fukk as a kid. Movies like Friday 13th and Halloween aren't really scary like that, but somebody that stalks and kills you in your sleep? :wow:

But another thing that scared the shyt out of me, and I still don't really like watching is the Thriller video. It's not really when the zombies were out dancing, but when they are first coming out the graves and that creepy motherfukka is talking....I hate that shyt.:sadcam:

Yea they did a good job on that shyt. I was spooked too.

On a sidenote ,I ain seen that video in a minute...that zombie dance routine, THEY KILLED IT!!!

MJ:blessed::mj:best that ever did it

Candyman, I'm from Chicago. The movie was set and filmed in Chicago. I couldnt go to the bathrooms at a park til i was like 9, if you've seen it you know what scene made me that way. That movie had me so scared, i was scared when we would drive to the Westside to pick up my cousin for the weekend as i would see the housing apartments from the movie.

Damn, I want to watch that now. Candyman underrated 90's horror.

Sparking blunts in the shade.
I was afraid to go in my back yard for the longest, because my mother told my little cousin and I, that there were cannibals back there that would rip our hearts out. :snoop:

This nikka had me afraid to even look in the mirror, let alone say candy man three times.

Up until I was about 10 I was afraid of the :wtf: ass nikkas on the block. Had a nikka shook walking to the bus stop.:pachaha:

@Marcozen everything you named was what fukked me up as a kid...now mind you, I used to sneak downstairs to watch the morning cartoons on saturday morning, and sometimes I would get up early, and WATL-36 (All my ATL folks form the 90s remember that channel) used to show Hellraiser almost every fukking friday night...so I'm 10 years old and I sneak downstairs in the early morning and that fukking hellraiser would be on and I couldn't sleep for days :cosbyfacepalm:

Man look... Nightmare on elm and Hellraiser?????

My older fam members had seen the shyt in the theatre and would go on and on about how dope it was. Bruh... I was scared of the IDEA of a "Freddy" and "Pinhead" before I had even seen the shyt

When the mfers hit cable TV, they dragged me in the room kickin and screaming and FORCED me to watch that shyt. I was :merchant::merchant::merchant: for months

Scarred me for life:snoop:

Yo real talk this man scared the piss out of me as a toddler, ever since I can remember I didn't fukk with santa AT ALL.

Somethin about parents handing their kids off to this strange overly friendly cac didnt sit well with me, even at like 4 years old. I remember seeing him in the mall holding my father's hand, and as I saw my father walking towards him with me I let go and instantly darted in the opposite direction. I ran as far and fast as my young legs would take me, all the way up the to the top floor of the Macys. Figured I'd rather live on the streets n fend for myself than get molested by some fat creepy cac and his elves :yeshrug:
