What record label would you say would be the best for Ma$e in 2013?

If Ma$e were to make another return to Hip Hop and put out like 4 albums, what record label would you say would be the best for him?

Cash Money? Maybach Music Group? G.O.O.D. Music? or Bad Boy Records again?

I think if Ma$e didn't feel the need to rhyme the way he did when he linked up with G-Unit or how he did back in the 90's before he retired he'd be ok. The album 3rd album "Welcome Back" that he put out on Bad Boy back when he had first came back was a really good (positive) and overlooked album. And I say overlooked because aside from "Welcome Back" single, the album didn't get gain much attention.

NO RECORD LABEL would be a good fit for Mase....

with him being such a talented writer..it would be in his best intrest for him to lock up a publishing deal or create his own publishing situation where he could just loan his services in a "ghostwriting" manner to other artists...not just upcoming artists..but the Kanye's , 50's and every other big commercial name who don't take the time to write every song..and have the CAPITAL to pay for written material.

Face it MASE is not marketable to this crowd....nor financially rewarding for a label to invest in...

also with publishing Mase can place some equity within himself without having to worry bout having his monies recoupied or paying back his debt to a guy like Diddy whose gonna hit him with that phat advance to lock him in....

nah fukk a record deal..get publishing!

Wow, this is a really great post. That's a really great point about him getting a publishing deal and just ghostwriting for established cats in the game.

Dude's an amazing songwriter he's one of the best in my opinion.

I'm curious too know though, why would you say he isn't marketable to this crowd of today? Do you mean if he were to comeback like he did in 2004 with the "Welcome Back" album?
