I LIVE IN A CARDBOARD BOX!
  1. Never really hated him, but never really cared for him.
  2. The only time I found him above average was when he was going off against different women during that sexist gimmick.
  3. His best match was the IC title match in 95 with HBK.
  4. He clearly used being the owner of TNA and nepotism to hold on to the TNA World Title.

:yeshrug: I thought he was decent in the ring. I wouldn't expect a five star match from him but at least a solid 3 star match. I didn't have a problem with him in his last WCW run but when he was NWA/TNA champion all the time it turned me off from the product. :hhh:

I did enjoy him hitting Mae Young with the guitar in the WWF though.

Never understood the hate Jarrett have gotten.

Sure he wasn't a pure main eventer in the fashion of a rock or austin, but he was a solid in ring worker, mic skills, & had personality.

I think some of his reigns were justified considering the main event scene was relatively lacking. On top of that I don't really recall him burying other top guys like hhh.

He did give us TNA which gave a lot of guys a platform to get well known as well as vets an opportunity to continue to work.

I think overall he's helped the business a lot more than he hurt it.

I’m glad I found this thread because I’ve been watching WCW in order and I’m in late ‘99 and dude is instant fast-forward :hhh: I could never get into anything he did or does

Side note, Torrie and Kimberly in 99 though :mjlit: Aight, I’m out

Thought his gimmick WOAT in the 90s, got better with the guitar shot spamming and Debra in the late 90s, played a heel you could truly hate too by protecting Debra from showing off. Kind of liked him in WCW, not someone I wanted to see as champ, but he was okay. In TNA he could fukk off every single week.

Overall, a dude who wasn't big physically, didn't have a good look, very serviceable in the ring, above average promos (will give him some props), but no real charisma or mean streak in him to put him to the next level.
