Also no one would ever click an entire beat in with any other program other than Fruity LoopsLet me refresh your memory.
only Fruity Loops has a one-click feature

so if Fruity Loops isn't mainly a hip hop and dance production DAW then why do 99% of its users make hip hop and dance?

the guy is dumb...he doesnt understand that it's a professional program and it's all on the PRODUCER and what the PRODUCER is comfortable with the PRODUCERS talent level...What stats do you have that back up 99% of FL users do hip-hop or dance?
Here's a vid of Just Blaze having "difficulty" chopping and replaying a sample without a controller.

look what this review says about Fruity Loops... it's simple and pattern-based and good for hip hop and dance/electronica/etc
Which under $100 sequencer is right for me?
and another mention
"FL Studio has always been a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) that's a little different from the rest. It leans heavily towards the electronica and hip-hop producer and provides an assortment of Virtual Studio Technology (VST) instruments to add to its arsenal. "

Tall Israeli is right, Fruity Loops was primarily designed for Electronic music (not even hiphop) but now with its many additions it could be used to create any type.
it will always have a "click" step drum sequencer, that more of a legacy they've included since the early days, but they've added so much more since then.
I say Fruity Loops is designed for programmed music and you prove my point with programmed classical remakes
FL Studio Music creation DAW
if you look at the demo songs they're all electro/dance
I'm pretty sure the first versions of Fruity Loops were made for dance music
hip hop d it

it DID start off as elect music but it evolved into something everybody can use NOW.
if this topic was made in 2002/3 you would be right but its 2012 and FL is a powerful program NOW.
You fruity loops nikkas need to shut the fukk up. Tall israeli aint said one lie. Stop catchin feelings over the truth. Fruity loops is the standard for NOOBS. It's been that way since before 9th wonder even popped on the scene. Does that mean it sucks? No (not now anyway). It's just the way it is. It was shytty program that got better over time but it's still the go to program for electronic music noobs. 2nd place is reason.
Protools, Cubase, Logic, and sometimes, Ableton are the standards for DAW RECORDING. You think mtv news is gonna announce Dr. Dre, Trent Reznor, Billy Corgan, Kanye West, or Mike Dean has decided to RECORD TO fruity loops?
Here's a conversation that'll never happen
Mike Dean: Yea this time Kanye and i decided to step our game up sonically. We're running all our hardware, synths, and vocals directly into fruity loops. From there we ran everything out thru the ssl board, added some color with our various compressors and vintage outboard gear, then ran everything back to fruity loops for a mixdown
