I don't even know that it's just networking that's the problem. Most bay area artists have a sound that's so specifically bay area that those who aren't from there almost automatically don't fukk with it.

You can't even say this because Tee Grizzley, YBN Namir and others are blowing up with basically the same sound.

The Bay Artists are just so content with being being in the Bay and Cali that they don't realize it isn't 1995 and the rest of the country isn't automatically tuned into what's hot in the Bay. They so caught up in a million views that they don't realize 80% of the views prolly comes from Cali & Detroit/KC.
