People here seem to think aesthetically pleasing only means smooth and graceful. Bron's game is aesthetically pleasing because of the power and athleticism. Same thing with Shaq.

I have to admit that I think Bron’s game is ugly as fukk. One thing I do love to see is his passing, it’s just as beautiful as Magic’s (From the classic games I was able to watch. I was too young to grow up seeing prime Magic.). I also loved when he developed the “LefukkYou” three. It’s one now one of my favorite moves to watch for if a lakers game is on. Overall I never enjoyed his game outside of the court vision and when he got up in the air to dunk.

And don’t get me wrong, I respect Bird’s game but he looked like a drunk, out of control, abusive uncle playing against his 12 year old nephews, in the driveway, on Christmas.

Kyrie should win this hands down if yall weren’t casuals & meat riders
Or, get this, people might enjoy seeing a really special highlight reel dunk once in a while and Kyrie is basically incapable of providing that

Kyrie is fun to watch but he doesn't have the high end athleticism to catch a body like Jordan or even someone closer to his size in DRose or Morant

One of the WOAT dunk packages for a top end player ever. 90% of this is two handed shyt over absolutely nobody :scust:

It isn’t that easy to draw a distinction when it comes to the og post, “Most aesthetically beautiful offensive game”.

I watched MJ from 1990 until he retired. I watched Kobe from his rookie year until he retired. Kobe used a lot of MJ’s moves but it was obvious from the jump he was another distinct brand of player. He wasn’t quite as athletic as MJ but his hops were sneaky and he compensated in other ways which made his game just as beautiful to watch.

MJ had a specific bounce and rhythm but Kobe had a certain calmness and used his length. He looked like he was moving a lot slower than he actually was, and it really fukked defenders up when he kept changing speeds the whole drive. MJ did it too, I know, but it was very different how they both successfully did it. MJ used his hops to clear the defender during jumpers, while Kobe used perfect timing to get off his fadeaway.

MJ looked like he was teleporting and flying, Kobe looked like water flowing then flying. MJ looked like he was about to fly. Kobe seemed to get up high as fukk out of nowhere. MJ was obviously lighting quick, while Kobe seemed more controlled and measured.

All that is an amazing way of saying someone is not as talented as the other :heh:

Also if you just started watching Mike in 1990 you missed perhaps the greatest athletic prime in basketball history. Mike was a better player after ‘90 but most appeasing, raw? No question it’s the 84-89 version.

This is before he bulked up….he was Usain Bolt with handles and a 50 inch vert :damn: like PLEASE stop comparing Kobe to that dude.

If anything Prime Kobe = ‘97 aged Jordan. That’s how big of a gap there was

If an aesthetically pleasing game factored in dunks, then Vince Carter should be on the list. He’s probably the most aesthetically pleasing dunker.

I know people are jaded with MJ being picked as the best of almost everything but he's the answer for me. His game was just too graceful. Somtimes he pulls a simple move but just the way he does it is different. :ohlawd:

'88 - '89 MJ was the hyperathletic jumping out the building MJ even on the defensive end. A real sight to behold.

It’s got nothing to do with who’s better, I voted MJ for this topic. You’re missing the entire point, because you seem hurt behind Kobe. I’ve watched any old MJ video available before I was old enough to remember watching him live. I’m pretty confident that I understand what he had to offer between 85’ and 90’, especially before he broke his foot. It’s why voted for him and celebrated the aesthetic beauty of his game in an earlier post.

The topic is about the aesthetic beauty of the players’ offensive game. Why are you bringing talent into this?
