So I can start with those episodes and not miss any important revelations that take place throughout the series? Cat I work with said start with the one that came out in 1999 then go from there
episode 1 is essentially irrelevant, but it's not as bad of a movie as most people make it out to be so you might want to watch it anyway, or watch it after the machete order is completed. It's honestly worth it just for the Darth Maul/Quigon Obi-wan fight.

How old is he? I think from the point of view of someone who saw them in the original order....im just saying that the first two are hard to work through...i mean I assume u already know the big reveal, and outside of that there isnt too many important revelations....

38. Claim to be the biggest Star Wars Stan. I know about the "Luke I am your father" shyt but that's about it. He did say mix rogue one in between 3 and 4.
I wanna start it this weekend and not feel lost watching it

Just peeped that other order, looks like a good way to watch it also(4/5/2/3/7)...i just have a hard time having someone start with 1, while not as bad as people think it is, it may ruin ur view of the series as a whole...prequels to me dont get good till halfway through the 3rd lol...
Edit:just make sure u see R1 in theater...shyts crazy good on the big screen

1, 2, 3, Rogue One, 4, 5, 6, 7. That is the correct chronological order. Watching 1-3 before 4-6 will spoil some plot points but unless you've been living under a rock you should already know what those plot points are. Episode one is pretty awful, and you can probably just skip it to be honest. I don't really think you miss out on anything crucial in terms of plot if you don't watch it.

Though the plot of Rogue One will have more significance if you watch 4 before it if you are completely unaware of anything in the Star Wars canon. That might be the only one I might would recommend watching out of order. So I might would recommend 1, 2, 3, 4, Rogue One, 5, 6, 7. But if you are already vaguely familiar with the Death Star, then you'll understand the importance of the plot of Rogue One.
I must admit there is no real "right" way to watch it. With the release order being way out of chronological order (released as 4, 5, 6, 1, 2, 3, 7, Rogue One), there really is no right way. But chronological order makes the most sense.

Having this issue with my nephew right now. 1-3 aren't "good" movies, but he's bored with IV...sad.
