I was wondering if this was a remake. I will check it out, now knowing that it's a sequel.

Yeah, they got me in on this. was kind of surprised to get this quality of sci fi on Showtime. I always thought Chiwetel was a good actor but this might take him to the next level, he's killing the role. I know its a remake but im not familiar with the original and i have no interest in looking into it because im interested in seeing where this goes. And of course Naomie Harris is excellent, one of my favorite actresses

Early 2000's Showtime had one of my favorite sci-fi series Odyssey 5. The show only lasted 1 season though, 19 episodes ending on a hell of a cliffhanger. They aired 14 straight episodes, took a long ass break of over a year...the show had already been axed, then dropped the remaining episodes that had already been filmed, and just sitting in the vault.

Showtime series generally don't get much exposure because not as many people fukk with the network. Should have been on HBO max.

Loving the pace of this series. Kind of reminiscent of Startup with how fast the plot goes. Just hope they have enough storyline to push through.
