Yeah but c'mon. That's like saying Redman is in wu tang.

:ehh: Tribe and De La Soul members have mentioned Common, Mos, Queen etc as being members though. I mean Cappadonna ain't original Wu-Tang, but he's Wu-Tang. :comeon:

I always preferred Midnight Maurauders to any other tribe album

Redman is a stretch...the only Wu album I remember him being on is Supreme Clientele for one verse.

Mos Def and Common have at least collaborated with Q-Tip, Busta Rhymes (LONS is native tongues right?) and De La Soul much more.

Low End Theory & 3 Feet High and Rising are obviously the popular choices, and I wouldn't disagree with anyone who says either.

Personally, my favorite is Midnight Marauders.

Red was on The W album. "Redbull" I understand both points about Native Tongues. Only reason I included Common, and consider Mos and Queen etc members is because actual founding members have said there members. If it was just them tooting their own horn it would be different.

The Native Tongues wasn't even a functioning unit when Mos & Common were hanging around. No one ever associates those two as members. Ever. Not one sensible person will think of them. Common is more a soulquarian.

Everybody associates Cappa with Wu Tang. Everyone.

I brought up Redman because he's recently stated that he was knighted as an official Wu family member recently. About as strong a case as Posdnous producing crosstown beef for Mos and Common rapping on The Bizness.

Thus why I said founding members, and members added. I don't think anyone is saying Mos and Common where founding members, just add ons.
