What mixer presets in FruityLoops can boost audio levels? I'm trying to make my beats louder in Fruity Loops 10. So far I use fruity limiter on the max loudness setting, I up the master volume level and slightly up the three EQ bands. What other mixer settings can I use to make the sound louder but that doesn't alter the quality of the beat or add a effect? I don't want to alter the sound of the samples in the sampler because I have them set just right but I may have to.

Try adding compression and boosting the gain or using the Fruity Waveshaper.

I know how to mix but it's easier to use a preset once rather than re-adjusting like 30 different sample volumes if the sound doesn't come out loud enough.

:mindblown: every song is different, shyt dont work like that breh :shaq2:

Here's a start, #thankmelater

I've already told you I know how to mix. :what: The system I'm using now will do but if there is another preset I can use I'll try it. Don't try to remake this thread into how you produce. If you know of a preset holla.

If you're looking for presets that alone shows that you really dont know how to mix :umad:

I do know how to mix you dumb fukk that's why I'm asking for MIXER presets. You're dismissed again for the 3rd time. Say something else about me not knowing how to mix and I'll reach through your monitor and slap the crown off of your fukkin' wisdom tooth and out of your gotdamm mouth, you bytch you! This is my last time telling you to STFU! I'll fukkin' resurrect Anton Lavey and make him do a Illuminati ritual on you if you don't bytch. :pacspit:

if you knew what you were doing you wouldn't be asking this question...or looking for presets...

anyways, i don't really know what you're asking. you want your samples to be louder? the entire sample? turn it up. or you want the quiet parts to "seem" louder? compression. or you have a bunch of chops set to different mixer tracks and you want them to all be louder? group them or send them to a bus.

I can see you don't know what I'm asking (even though I made myself clear in my first post) because you are asking me a series of stupid questions. :shaq2: I want the entire finished track louder. I've already mixed each sample to the levels I want. I don't want to go through each sample and turn them up if there is a preset that can just boost the finished product instead. It's crazy that the thread had to be derailed by an assumption and that you would be stupid enough to follow it even though you can't even comprehend my standpoint.

This will happen with almost any DAW you work with. Mixer presets are unlikely to solve the problem of increasing your headroom, and your best bet is to put money into your projects if you're serious about them & get them mastered. Mastering really is key.

If you're not open to this, then I don't know if presets alone will really help you. Increasing headroom without compromising your mix is fairly tough, and I don't work with FL so you'd probably have to look at tweaking your mixing process from start to finish to find small adjustments, that cumulatively give you that boost you want.

so...you're done mixing and are onto mastering but you're asking for "mixer presets"? :ld:

istope ozone probably has some mastering presets you'd like. otherwise, use a brickwall limiter (like L2), set your ceiling to 0.0db and play with the threshold till you get what you want. you might want to try and throw a compressor on there first and use slower settings to keep it more natural sounding and letting the limiter catch the fast transients.

louder isn't necessarily better, btw.
