What media are you guys watching that promotes homosexuality?

I don't watch the real world so I'm not going to speak for any particular show, but you said there are more gay people than black people on TV, and that's simply not true.

If you remove sports, and crime shows. Black people would barely be on tv at all.

It seems like y'all really mean to say sitcoms when you say TV. I don't watch any of that shyt, so I don't see hardly any gay people. I only watch sports, politics, and science stuff pretty much. Maybe it's what y'all watch. Maybe you watch too many shytty sitcoms.

Yea, I think we are talking about drama, sitcoms and films. It's what the majority of the country watches (Aside from sports and occasional debate/SOTU)

Every show has to now include a gay character in it or some gay awareness message. I understand that Hollywood feels it has to counteract the religious crazies, but it seems forced and inauthentic.

The increase could be attributed to cAtering toward an affluent demographic. Generally speaking, they are considered to have more disposable income than the general population. Advertisers are willing to pay so they get more characters. It's the same reason there are more Hispanic characters too.

For sure. There is of course a component that does it because of monetary benefits, but even then, it seems like there is still a lot of forced homosexuality. I think some of it is done as "shock value" shyt to piss off the religious nuts. Still, gays are over represented in my opinion. Same with Jews, who make up 2-4% of the population, but you wouldn't know that by watching films and TV. Latinos and Blacks are significantly underrepresented in films and TV shows.

normalizing doesn't mean promotion, the reality is there are tons of gay people everywhere. Why can't they be in a tv show?

What the hell does "tons" mean? If you mean percentages, gays make up less than %5 of the population, yet they are OVERREPRESENTED on the media, movies, and other forms of entertainment. I know most liberals enjoy the gay lifestyle, but there are plenty of people who simply would rather not have to confront this bullshyt every waking moment.

I don't think the people in Hollywood care about religious people as much as they care about cold, hard, cash. I think they would Sandusky in a movie if there were tons of people with cash like him.

You are giving those people too much credit. They are trying to attract eyeballs, which bring advertisers, which bring cash and leverage. If gays help, use them. If Latinos help, use them. Tyler Perry has put hispanic roles into his horrible TV shows and movies. The big breasted chick from Modern Family is on a TP movie.

I saw an episode of that once(when i was chillin with a girl, definitely not by choice) and they just kinda made them look like annoying ass fakkits. Like, definitely not glamorous.
