Bret/Austin no doubt.

Bret vs Austin was the match of the year in 1997. Both matches are great and both earned 5 stars from Meltzer but when you factor in the beautifully executed double-turn along with the iconic images of a bloody Steve Austin in sharpshooter you gotta give it to this match, its a masterpiece.

Taker and Shawn tore it the fukk down and Shawn took an epic ass kicking but that match might be more remembered for the debut of Kane, people might not remember much of the actual match but they always remember Kane ripping the door off the cell.

I mean what story did it tell? It was basically a bridge to introduce Kane and get to Kane vs Taker. Shawn took an ass whuppin the majority of the match. HBK vs Taker at Mania 25 blows away their HITC match.
